And just like that, month one of 2011 is done and over with. Let’s do a quick check in on how I’m doing before I pass out. (I’m writing this post the night before it goes live and boy am I tried… yes, tried, that’s how tried I am…)

I didn’t release any new games in January like I was planning to with Don’t Panic, so my total monthly income has dropped significantly. Actually, this affects almost all the other aspects of my income. For example, since I didn’t release a new game, I don’t get a big boost in traffic to the site, thus Adsense revenue will be down.
Anyway, let’s get started…
Total’s for the month of January 2011.
Website Revenue
Google Adsense: $32.51 (-30%)
Game Revenue
Exclusive/Primary Sponsorships and Sitelocks: $0.00 (-100%)
Mochi Ads (Total): $10.96 (-51%)
- Mochi Ads (Oil Spill Escape): $1.65 (+29%)
- Mochi Ads (Christmas Defense): $9.30 (-56%)
CPMStar Ads (Total): $66.68 (-76%)
- CPMStar Ads (Oil Spill Escape): $7.56 (+46%)
- CPMStar Ads (Christmas Defense): $59.12 (-78%)
Game Sessions
Gameplays (Total): 376,898 (-48%)
- Gameplays (Weapons on Wheels): 210,483 (+)
- Gameplays (Oil Spill Escape): 24,626 (+)
- Gameplays (Christmas Defense): 141,789 (-)
Monthly Total
Total: $110.15 (-95%)
And there you have it. Quite the plummet if I do say so myself. It’s to be expected though. Like I said up above, if I don’t release a game during any given month, then obviously profits are going to be way down.
February will be a significantly different story. JUST YOU WATCH.

Oh poor Ralph, “oh noes, I only made 100 dollars extra this month from doing absolutely nothing, I’m depressed
”
MAN UP!
That wasn’t an awesome comment at all what the hell?
I told you, MY AWESOME LEVELS ARE DOWN AT THE MOMENT! >:C
I think you’ve learned your lesson about holiday themed games here Ralph. They don’t exactly continue to generate much revenue after the holidays.
These comment avatars are very colorful, guys.
Mine’s better.
@Ralph I wouldn’t know.
